Don't worry about being (un)able to integrate these drivers into your personal version of the Windows XP CD due too big size of the uncompressed package content. If you use nLite to build your personal compilation of the Windows XP CD, nLite will fit only compressed versions of these drivers into your ISO. So it will take only less than 30 MiB of space to integrate these drivers to your personal version of the Windows XP CD! Sometimes it would be much easier if Windows could recognize your build-in SD card reader as a local (~fixed) instead of a removable drive. This driver is based on the work of the 'Hitachi Global Storage Technologies' company which they issued for the same purpose regarding their 'Microdrive' called CF-sized hard disks. Choosing the 'USB2.0 CardReader SD0 USB Device' at the 'disks' section of the device manager and updating the according drivers will solve a lot (but not all) problems. Be assured you will be still able to (un)mount your inserted SD card via the system tray icon without any problems. Don't worry about an installation failure message as its caused by the missing .cat file in combination with the DRVSETUP.EXE. Feedback onto this package is welcomed as it helps me to improve this package for your delight! So please drop me a note*) about new versions of drivers you've found as well as any problems using this drivers. Additional notes: To increase the comfort of using your ASUS EeePC under usage of Windows XP I recommend you to use these programs: 1) The ASUS system tray tool (short ASTRAY) to easily switch on / off the WLAN adapter & the web cam, as well as switching / changing the resolution & display (LCD/CRT). 2) An indicator tool to see the status of CapsLock, NumLock & ScrollLock at a glance. 3) A tool to move windows out of your visible display area to see / reach any part of their content. 4) And maybe a good RAM-Disk tool to increase the speed of your EeePC by moving the temp folder from the quite slow SSD to the RAM.
